Chef Minh Le
Private Home Omakase Experience
Hello! My name is Chef Minh Le.
I “grew up” in the kitchen assisting my parents with their restaurant and catering business since I was 13, but I wasn’t in love with cooking until I worked for the prestigious Sushi Hayakawa in Atlanta. There I was drawn into the creative process and learned about the delicate nature and the regimented precision of preparation in the sushi world. I met my mentor and decided to follow his passion. After my apprenticeship, I honed my skills at several notable sushi restaurants in addition to pilgrimages to Japan for inspiration.
For this newest venture, I was inspired by the bounty of the East End and its farmer’s respect toward the local land and sea. Our relationship will allow you to taste the showcase of delicious local fish in its purest and raw form.
About
Chef Minh Le
I offer a 14-course home omakase (omakase is a Japanese phrase that translates to “I leave it up to you”) menu with an emphasis on local fish and organic ingredients. I work mostly with local fishermen and farms to create my menu and incorporate a few Japanese premium additions.
